A healthy diet is the key to having skin that looks like you have a healthy diet. Aka: “you are what you eat”. (Ben & Jerry’s apparently being the exception. All those pints, and still no creamy complexion.)
But getting your recommended 4-5 servings of fruits and 4-5 servings of vegetables a day can prove to be a challenge. (Especially if you’re a vegetarian, who doesn’t really like vegetables. Yes, I’m surprised I’m still alive too.)
Which is why I think of Cell-nique Super Green Drink as a Godsend.
This beverage is 95% organic, contains 31 fruits and vegetables (at least someone is using their juicer) and is the nutritional equivalent of 7 salads.
It’s loaded with things like, Acai (a super anti-oxidant), Blue-Green Algae, Broccoli, Quinoa (one of the best sources of protein in the vegetable kingdom), Spinach, etc.
And shockingly it tastes nothing like a combination of the stuff in the previous paragraph. My favorite flavor is the Vanilla Citrus, which tastes just like an orange creamsicle. (Why can’t all vegetables taste like creamsicles?)
Just make sure to shake the bottle well or you’ll end up with 3 salads worth of nutrients left on the bottom.
I went to the Cell-nique website (a fantastical New Age land). There was a lot of great nutritional info but a song with the lyrics, “I am bountiful, blissful and beautiful” was playing. I quickly hit mute for fear of being brainwashed into changing my name to Spirulina.
Cell-nique is sold in health food stores. There’s a store locator on their website, but I didn’t find it all that accurate, so you might want to call ahead to double check.
