At first blush, this facial massage roller seems like it belongs on a late night infomercial. One where the product looks like a little piece of plastic crap, but it claims to somehow revolutionize the world.
(Meanwhile, I lay there on the couch with the powdered cheese from Smart Puffs sprinkled all over myself (and under my nails) mumbling “must find phone”.)
The benefits of a facial massage read like a “miracle”, anti-aging product.
I’m not sure about this hot stone face massage though. Looks like the spa staff is just messing with her and decided to play backgammon on her face.
Sounds good, right? But wait there’s more...
They also supposedly tighten and lift facial muscles. Helping to firm skin, as well as prevent (and repair) sagging and wrinkles.
And that’s not all…
They also release tension- helping to prevent wrinkles caused by facial expressions and stress.
And as an extra, added bonus...
They also detoxify.
What? No free carrot peeler?
I’d give my left kidney for a product that does all that. But turns out that's not a good idea, because my kidney is worth a lot more than $7.95.
And that price tag is the reason I couldn’t resist ordering the Japanese Facial Roller by Kai from Amazon. It’s just 6” long, so it can travel with you. (It's a good way to make sure no one sits next to you on the bus). It has a wider row of little suction cups on one side (for cheeks, forehead, etc) and a narrow row on the other (for under eyes, side of nose, etc).
To use it, you just roll it all over your face. I use it while watching TV. It tickles, so it's fun to use. There’s definitely more blood in my face after and I can feel the tension in my face melting away. The other benefits haven’t quite come to fruition yet, but who knows, in a few months I could look like Dakota Fanning.
This is a great little holiday gift. They’ll laugh at first, but once they use it, they’ll think it’s the best, little piece of plastic crap ever.

You find the niftiest lil gadgets-this looks sweet! And that Dakota Fanning is a button. I want to look like Abigail Breslin when I revert go back in time!

Use a Dermaroller, it does much more than a massageroller ;)

Hey Ruben,
That Dermaroller scares me. Both the price tag and all those needles sticking out of it. Does it really work (besides just to get confessions out of people:)?

it does!
Not only will your products enter your skin more deeply, you will also be enjoying the benefits of more radiant skin! Only downside is that I use the 0,3 mm and I can't use it on a daily base cause it's too strong! (the day afterwards I always have a heatrush on my faceskin for a couple of minutes, just out of the blue lol)
