You know I like your page and your sense of humor but this time I have to disagree! Rinsing your skin with just water is too drieng since water has a pH level of 7 but our skin has a pH of 5-5.5 meaning the water is too drieng for our fragile skin!
Using a toner as only a cleanser won't cleanse your skin since it doesn't contain any detergents, but due to the watery solution of a toner it will give you the impression that it cleans (also because it can take any make-up/pollution residue away) but it won't cleanse your skin as a real cleanser!

That's my 5 cents :))

Oh and I checked the L50 (for Botox, with all the animals dieng and such lol) test you told us about and according to my professor of Cosmetic/Pharmaceutic Law it's just not possible cause it's against the Law in every country. No animals may die in a direct way after injection/application of cosmetics/Pharmaceuticals!

But I still really like your site and I hope you won't see me as a pain in the ass right now lol :)

Hey Ruben,
I don't see you as a pain in the ass. I appreciate your input. I mean you're the one going to school for this stuff. Ok, as for the toner. This one is ph balanced so I guess at least it won't dry like water and it prevents me from going to bed with a face full of makeup still on:) As for the LD50 test. I think your professor might be wrong on that one. If you google animal testing and botox there will be tons of articles from lots of sources. Not that the internet makes it true but I think your teachers response that animal testing is against the law in every country. Is not true, in the US, animal testing is legal. Which is way people, have to go out of their way to make sure products aren't tested on animals. I hate to argue with a Pharmaceutical law professor, but this is from the FDA's website: Animal testing by manufacturers seeking to market new products may be used to establish product safety. In some cases, after considering available alternatives, companies may determine that animal testing is necessary to assure the safety a product or ingredient. ...
Thanks (really I don't see you as a pain in the ass. Keep the knowledge coming. I appreciate it.)

Hey Jenny :)

You are right about the animal testing, it is legal in most countries even in my country (Belgium)! Who hasn't seen those pictures with rabbits with nice red lips LOL. But there is a difference between testing on animals (for products, make-up) and injecting animals with ingredients/products in the hope 50 of them DIE (it is that part that is illegal :))

And I'm going to eat pumpkin pie next time I'm planning to stay with my boyfriend after walking or running through a lavender field...You never know ^^ ;)
